The BuzzCard serves a variety of functions to support your life experience at Georgia Tech. All faculty and staff of Georgia Tech are required to have a BuzzCard for identification purposes.

So, why should you use your BuzzCard to make on-campus purchases?

• It's FREE! There is no charge for you to use your BuzzCard. All the money you put into your BuzzCard Account is available to you.
• Convenience! No more fumbling for change! Your BuzzCard is accepted for food, beverage, and other purchases campus wide. Locations such as Starbucks Coffee, Barnes & Noble at Georgia Tech, Einsteins Brothers' Bagels, Junior's, and select Technology Square merchants all accept your BuzzCard. • Safety! No more worrying about cash. If you card is lost or stolen, just logon to MyAccount from the BuzzCard website and suspend your card.
• No Risk! Your BuzzCard funds are refundable to you upon your departure from the Institute.
• FAST! Have you noticed the "BuzzCard Only" line at the Student Center Food Court? BuzzCard allows you to save your valuable time by completing transactions faster than credit card or cash.

How can I deposit funds to my BuzzCard Account?

• Payroll Deduction! Simply logon to Techworks, click on Payroll and Compensation Home, then click on "Voluntary Deductions." Add BuzzCard and any amount you wish. BuzzCard Funds are posted to your card several days in advance of payday!
• Online! Logon to the BuzzCard website and click on the MyAccount button. Logon to MyAccount using your email "username" and "password". Click on Deposit, and follow the directions.
• Value Transfer Stations! Deposit cash to any of the BuzzCard Center Value Transfer Stations (VTS).

• The BuzzCard Center! Make your deposit in person or by telephone any time during regular business hours. The Card Center accepts cash, check, and credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

The BuzzCard Center does not charge a convenience fee for funds you deposit into your BuzzCard Account!
